I was diagnosed with RA at age 22. Most likely undiagnosed childhood onset.
Enbrel has changed the course of my life. Biologics equal preservation of function. Educate yourself, but don’t be held back by fear of the unknown.
Take care of yourself, be compliant with your medications, get plenty of rest, eat good foods, and know you can do more than anyone ever believed possible. I was told I would be in a wheelchair when i was in my 20’s. At 53, I have worked full-time as a RN my whole adult life. It hasn’t been easy, but I have done it. You can too. Be encouraged.
My faith has also kept me well. God has poured out his healing and grace on this body. I still have crooked joints, but they work!
